Finally... birthmother and foster mother gifts!

OK... so let me just sart by saying... NOPE... still haven't hung up the nursery decorations on the walls. I still have a week and 2 days... so why hurry??? I do feel lots better today that I finally decided on and bought gifts for the birthmother and foster mother. I went with bracelets. And I am very happy with my selections and feel that a whole weight lifted off my chest when I walked away with them.

I had the Chinese character for "Happiness" engraved on the charm on the foster mother's bracelet.

For Po's birth mother I went with something a bit smaller and with a bit of color. I had the Chinese character for "Family" engraved on her bracelet. I hope that the word fits.

I certainly don't won't her to be forced to think of the adoption everyday... but I would like her to know that she IS and WILL always be a part of our family!

I bought some pretty boxes (no need to wrap, nice and easy) with little cards to present the bracelets.
I put much thought into just the right gifts. I really wanted to get the foster mother something different than jewelry but in the end I just couldn't find anything that struck me as more perfect than the bracelet that I ended up purchasing.I am happy!

Tomorrow... gift #3... Mr. Yeh! I am on it! Oh... and I was thinking of getting my hair cut really short... kinda messied up style. Maybe something like this..What do you think??

Oh, and by the way. I should also mention that my angel brought my family together with her family. Her parents are my Shasha's God Parents... although they are so much more than that... they are my forever connection to my friend. Keep smiling that One eyed smile Nancy. It is so her! For years, I was afraid to get close to anyone new for fear that they would also be taken away from me. Last year my angel sent me another best friend, Dawn. And you know...Life is good again. I smile. I laugh. and I have fun. I love you Dawn! Thanks for being my best friend!

Your gifts are gorgeous! I love them both! It's hard choosing gifts for the birthmother. We received travel news on Friday! yippee! Too bad we will not be there at the same time! We depart on Oct 1st, and return on the 10th. Are you using a guide? I can't locate information or the name of the guy that everyone uses. Do you have it?
