We have a New China Agency!

As I type... my sweet baby boy is napping peacefully in my arms and my little princess is watching a sad puppy movie on Disn@y channel. Shasha and Po are the two sweetest things... and I can't stop hugging and kissing them... EVER!!! I love being their Momma. And that is why I know that the right thing for us to do with our NEXT adoption is to follow along as our agency transfers our case onto their sister agency. We have completed the paperwork, signed away our names once again and mailed our packet off via USPS yesterday afternoon. And so... we now have a new agency to complete our 3rd adoption!

You would think that we would be scared and anxious about all of this but we have faith that all will go well. When our original Taiwan agency told us they were closing... we were scared. A wonderful agency picked up our case and within a year we have the most precious little boy in our arms. And so, it is with that awesome experience in mind that we continue our China journey with our new agency! So how long??? Who knows. Don't ask. But I am sure that Shasha will be old enough to babysit her by then... she's 4... DOESN'T THAT SAY ENOUGH??

Happy re-adoption day to Po!!!

We just returned back from the courthouse and have now completed Po's re-adoption. We also finally had Shasha's adoption registered with the county. Eeryone fussed over Shasha for her birthday and the judge even gave her an extra present... a dolly. He gave eah of the kids a stuffed animal as well. That was easy.

Happy 4th birthday to our little princess!!!

Today is our princess Shasha's 4th birthday!!! She is super excited about her big day this year! Last night shasha and I went out to buy her some balloonsand she also picked herself out a birthday breakfast. So this morning she is eating up her pancakes and sausage. Though we are a bit under the weather here we are going to try to celebrate her special day today!! I Can't believe she is 4 years old already! i will post more about our big day later.... this is a big day for Po too.

HaTs FoR SaLe @ www.hleadesigns.etsy.com

Brrrr...It's getting cold outside....do you know what your kids need??? A new hat!! I recently ordered a hat for each of my little kiddos from a Taiwan Yahoo group friend, Heather, who is starting her own online etsy.com business!!! It was simple! I told Heather what hat and colors I wanted Po's hat to be and Shasha handpicked her own hat style and colors... we took 2 quick measurements and VOILA... our handmade hats were delivered right to our house in about a week or so!!! I have received so many compliments on these hats and have been asked repeatedly about where I bought them.... So let me share the address with ALL OF YOU!!!! GO HERE... www.hleadesigns.etsy.com
.... pick your style and colors and get one of these super cute hats for your super cutie!!!

Pass this on to your friends... let's help Heather make a good go of her new hat bizz!

13 years and two cuties later...

Scott and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary yesterday as a family at our favorite kid friendly restaurant... Friendl@y's!
That's right! On November 2, 1996, Scott and I were married! At that time, Scott and I had no idea what was to be in store for our future... and we certainly wouldn't have guessed that we would have the great fortune to parent our two little cuties! But here we are 13 years later and we wouldn't have it any other way! It is hard to comprehend how much we have done in these past 13 years together... we have experienced the awesome state of Alaska not once... but twice and we cruised our way through the Hawaiian Islands. As a matter of fact... we have gone on 9 cruises all together taking us up the Canadian coast, to Mexico and to way many Caribbean Islands! We have visited countless US National Parks and I couldn't even tell you how many trips to Walt Disn@y W@rld we have taken! But the best by far... is that we have traveled to China and Taiwan to be united with the children of our dreams!!! It seems so very fitting that Scott and I share a strong passion for travel and seeing the world and that together we created our forever family by doing just what we love! Our hope for our future is to share our love of seeing the world with Shasha and Po... and YES, one day... perhaps another child from China:) It kinda cool because I do feel like "we have the whole world in our hands!"

Trick or Treat

Trick or treat was great last night despite the heavy rain we had for a while. Shasha was going to be Cind@rella but changed her mind about 4 hours before start time. So Tinkerb@ll it was! Good thing we had that costume on hand too! Po was the cutest little 3 eyed 4 armed monster I ever saw!!! We started wayyyyy early... about 5 pm so we could get the kids in and out of the carseats. We went to Shasha and Po's GREAT GRANDPARERTS' houses first. Grammy and dappy were waiting for us too. We had a cupcake and some cider before we headed up to Nanny Nancy and Pop pop's to do some trick or treating in the wagon. That is so much easier than the carseat thing! After a fun adventure through the neighborhood we ate mummy hotdogs for dinner!
