We LOVE Atlantic City!!!!

OK.OK. So we didn't do much gambling! Scoog and I played the penny slots for about an hour while grammy, dappy and Shasha watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse back in the hotel room on her DVD player. By the way I came out winning more than Scott... I came out 26 cents ahead!
We actually stayed at the Tropicana in our free room to take Shasha to the beach! She loved running, jumping and splashing in the water... well, until this wave got her! Then she decided that she didn't like the ocean anymore!

We made Shasha into a mermaid by giving her a sand fishy tail!

A Fun time at the Beach!

Last Thursday and Friday was Beach Time!!! Scott and I wanted to take Shasha to Wildwood or Seaside, NJ this year but the hotel/motel prices are so high. So we got a card in the mail from the Tropicana in Atlantic City for a free night and we thought why not use the free night for the beach? We couldn't believe how many others were also at AC for beach time! I would say about 50% of the people we saw during the day had clothes on over a bathing suit while walking through the casino.

Shasha absolutely loved playing in the sand and she and Grammy and Daddy spent lots and lots of time building sand castles. Well, maybe that is just a little off... I should rephrase that to: GRAMMY AND DADDY spent lots of time building sand castles while Shasha jumped on them, smashed them and stomped on them!!! Then she would look at Grammy and Daddy and say, "Do It Again!"

She had an absolute blast! She loved the elevator ride to our oceanview room on the 11th floor! She loved splashing in the ocean! She loved it when we buried her up to her waist in the sand... She did, however absolutely HATE the Rainforest Cafe'!!! It was not her first visit to dine with the gorillas, elephants, Nemos and Doris... but add in the no-nap factor and when the gorillas started ranting and raving... So did Shasha! She was so over the top scared that our waitress moved us to another table near the fishtanks and the waterfall. All was calm then and Shasha fell sound asleep!

We will take her to the casino again in July...

What a diva! Shasha and I do a lot of "photo shoots"! She just loves to pose for her photo to be taken...well, as long as she is in the mood!I have found that if she says "cheese" I get a corny little smile but if she says "fishy" I get the smile that really shows off her beauty! Having Shasha is really making the wait for the other adoptions easier. I remember just barely making it through the wait for Shasha and yet I find myself saying "when it happens... it happens" this time around!She is just such a blessing! And I can't stop spoiling her! But I am not the only one guilty of Shasha thinking that the world revolves around her... right Dadda...Grammy... Dappy... and Nancy?

This past Sunday was Father's Day or as I like to call it... Dadda, Dappy, Pop-Pop Day! I had a great day and hope that I made Dadda, Dappy and Pop-pop's day special too! illlllvvvvuuuuuuuuuuuuu...guys! Do you think that wearing my Tinkerbell wings qualifies me as an angel?????
