Our Journey to China

January 2011... Homestudy update started once again

February 2010... April 2008 is out of REVIEW!

January 27, 2010... finally received our new I-171H
We have a new China Agency!
...
August 25, 2009... USCIS fingerprints renewed!
...
June 12, 2009... Homestudy renewal process started!
...
Waiting... a long, long time!
...
April 2, 2008!!! Logged in to China!
...
March 17... Dossier State Certified, reviewed by AFTH, sent to Gracewood for Authentification
...
March 11... YUP March! Finally we are approved by USCIS
...
Problems with USCIS... still no word
...
Do more paperwork to complete dossier... wait is growing longer!
...
October 17... Get fingerprinted by USCIS
...
September 2007... get updated homestudy and send in I-600A for China adoption
...
August 2, 2007... We returned home from China with our Sha sha 1 year ago! We fill out our application for #2 from China expecting a 3 year wait

January 8, 2009... Received I-797!

November 29, 2008... Officially Fingerprinted!

November 20, 2008... Received invitation for fingerprinting!!!

November 10, 2008... Mailed I600A to USCIS

September 4, 2008... We have a new agency!!!
...
We will now be with a new agency??? Waiting till september for word on final arrangements. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Ausust 4, 2008... Our Agency announced it is closing
...
July 16, 2008... Physicals completed
...
June 30, 2008... PA FBI fingerprints taken
...
June 25, 2008... Homestudy Home visit! Registered and $$$ for PA FBI check.
...
May 5, 2008... Signed contract sent to Agency Office today!!!
...
April 30, 2008... We are approved!!! AND we are officially on the WAITLIST!!!
...
Waiting for approval for Taiwan B program
...
March 7... Application sent to agency
...
March 4, 2008... Call from Agency... Yes we can adopt from Taiwan too!
...
March 3, 2008... Email Taiwan Agency for Info
....
March 1, 2008... hmmm... the wait for China sure is long... let's do a concurrent adoption!
