Taiwan count UP from our Civil Ruling #15

The forested mountain slopes of Taiwan offer protection for the island's wildlife population. The island of Taiwan has 70 species of mammals, ninety kinds of retiles, 500 species of birds, 18,000 types of insects and 2,700 kinds of fish!

And Yippeeee.... I DID get my paint last night! I actually was a dare devil and chose a different color.... ok so dare devil doesn't describe the difference between the lightest color of yellow, Popcorn, which is on the walls now and Shasta Daisy which is ever so slightly (honestly, not by much if at all) a bit brighter! And today, Bl@gger allowed me to upload my photos... so I have the pics of the new nursery items I received yesterday! I love the baskets, this rug and especially the wall hangings! This P@oh theme is coming together quite nicely... but Po's room is not that big so I better stop shopping while there is still room to move around!
Poor Po! Shasha's room is HUGE! I mean, honestly, it is just HUGE! 4 years ago when we adopted Shasha from China... we never in our wildest dreams expected to be adopting a second child. We were simply ecstatic that after years of failed fertility treatments we were finally going to have our own child...so when we redid our upstairs to accomodate new bedrooms, we made them HUGE! As soon as we brought Shasha home, we knew that our family was not yet complete! So, one year later we applied once again with our agency for a second child from China! Anyway, we heard through the China Adoption grapevine that our expected 3 year wait was truly looking like 7 or 8 or more so we pursued Po's adoption from Taiwan! It was the best decision for our family... Shasha will turn 4 in November and the age difference between PO and and Shasha will be just right! So, anyway... all this simply means one thing.... Po gets one of the smaller original bedrooms in the house! But all is well! Truly, his room is my favorite room in the house, and since my computer is still housed in here... you can see that I spend lots of my time in here every day!
Oh... and I would like some updates please.

Loving the Pooh theme! I can't wait to see the room all finished. I am sure the wild new shade brighter will look perfect!

And isn't it amazing how you just know the right path to take to create your family! I really enjoyed your story.
And yes...come on updates!

Do you mind if I put your blog on my sidebar of favs?

So sweet! I love the Classic Pooh, of course I could be a little biased as that is what I did Julia's first room in:) I miss that room, but when we moved and I knew for absolutely certain we were getting another girl, we did Princesses and Pixies instead. But the Pooh room was so calming to walk into while we waited to go to China. I'll never forget it!
Love the way yours is coming together!!
