Some whining and the Taiwan Count UP fact #20

Wow! I am really in love with those August update pictures! Waiting is so hard... and let's not forget about my jealousy issue with the caretaker that is holding my sweet dumpling! I am beginning to find it very hard to concentrate on the simple things in life. I mean, sure, waiting for our referral was hard.... but quite honestly.... receiving it on February 27 was completely out of the blue and we weren't expecting it at all! So wow what a nice unexpected suprise! Then, waiting for the court hearing.... well... that was OK too because I really didn't know what to expect and we received word of our court hearing about 2 weeks BEFORE it happened. But then, waiting for our first ruling.... well that was different! The wait was hard on the heart. Everyone around us seemed to be getting their first rulings and soem even recieved their final rulings and there we were STILL WAITING! We were told 1 to 3 months from our hearing to our first ruling... we waited 3 months-one week and one day.... but who's counting?????? So now that we have our first ruling... we were told 3 to 6 weeks for our Final to come through. I am expecting the full 6 weeks... just because. That would put us at about September 10... Not what I am looking for... I want it now! This Thursday will be 3 weeks.... and next Thursday (my birthday) will be 4! Scott keeps asking me what I want for my birthday... it is unreasonable to want my Final ruling??? I mean really.... is that too much .... too soon... to ask for?


Ok.... enough whining.... here is the Count UP fact of the day....
Only about 25% of the land in Taiwan is suitable for farming. Nearly one hundred types of fruits and vegetables are grown in Taiwan , including bamboo shoots, cabbages, soybeans, tomatoes, watermelon and cucumbers. Citrus fruits, bananas, mangoes, grapes, pineapples, peaches and pears are also grown in Taiwan.
