I'm not ready to let go
I just have to type the words. I have to figure out how to deal with this. We have been watching the health of our 13 year puppy, Yogi, deteriorate throughout the year. He is not doing well. He can walk but will not even stand up on his own. The only times he moved today were when I picked him up so that he could walk around a bit. I don't want to let go. I am not ready. I don't want to be unfair to him. I love him so very much. He was my first baby. He has always been the perfect puppy. I am just not ready to let go. I can't even sit and talk about it with the kids because I just fall apart. I'm just not ready! I love my Yogi!

So sorry to hear about your doggie. I know how much they can mean to you and they are more than just pets. We have 2 furry boys that were my babies before Lexie and I can't imagine them not being around. I love them so much. I'm sorry you have to go through this and I hope that his health improves.
