5 years ago today...
5 years ago today a beautiful baby girl was placed in our arms. We were anxious, she was scared. We were nervous, she was tired from her long ride to meet us. But when the words were said, "Number 7, Shasha!" We ran to her and she grasped for us. I held her tight. She rested her little head on my shoulder and fell soundly asleep. We have been completely in love with eachother ever since. And today We celebrate 5 years together with our China family! This weekend, We celebrate love, extended family, and our precious daughters! It is truly wonderful to see how our girls have grown... wiser, older and more beautiful. Though, I surely don't want time to fly.... I certainly cannot wait to see what life has in store for these girls!

Sunrise is the time of day I love most at Animal Kingdom Villas... looking out over a tranquil pool with only a handful of people interrupting my view. The sounds of the flamingoes echoing through the warm still air. I willingly could skip the parks and do this all day long! Oh well, my relaxing time is over! Off to Animal Kingdom!

Magical express... sitting here waiting on a half full bus hoping for more people to come so we can get to our hotel... it is free but not fast! Oh well... the car rental lines are super long too! The kids did ok on the airplane... Po slept most of the flight and that made things a whole lot less hectic:)

So Happy Together!!
I just had to share some updated photos of Shasha and Po! They love eachother so very much... oh, but don't let the pictures fool you... boy, do they fight! All we hear for half of the day is, "Mommy, he hit me." or " Daddy, Shasha mean to me!" Typical brother and sister!!! And then there are just those absolutely magical moments of true love, true friendship and true happiness. Those are the momets that take our breath away and will NEVER be forgotten!

Shasha's outfits arrived from Lil' Bug! They are very nice and she is so excited to pack them for Disney! She just loves extras so this pink and zebra striped dress is perfect! She also picked out a cool pirate outfit to wear when she goes to Pirate League to be painted up as a pirate express. We are also doing the Pirate and Pals Cruise that same night! We just might order another outfit for our PhotoShoot over the summer!

4 years, 9 months...
China referrals have just been handed out... through LID June 15, 2006. These happy people have waited 4 years and 9 months for their referrals! Just a little reminder that we are LID April 2, 2008.
We just completed updating all of our paperwork so that we can remain in line with China. The program is moving slowly... but moving.
We began our paperwork for Taiwan but intended to transfer all of of China paperwork over. Right now, Scott and I just haven't seen movement in the Taiwan program to make us feel comfortable to do so. We are putting major thought into the fact of doing a whole new homestudy and I797 for Taiwan. But again, I need to see some NSN referrals before investing thousands of dollars into that.
All of this is mindboggling... but the one thing that I know for sure is that no matter what happens I am have two beautiful children, 1 sweetpea from China and 1 little Taiwan dumpling! And they make me 1 happy Mommy!
